A surgeon to the stars was found dead at his Ealing home, it has been announced today.

Graham Belham, 55, an orthopaedic surgeon whose patients included Heather Mills, was found dead at his home in Hills Mews on Friday March 5.


Four Ealing youngsters have been chosen to join the English Youth Ballet in its next production of Giselle after a high-powered audition.


The girls will be among 100 local dancers, aged eight to 18, who will perform in a new adaptation of the dramatic ballet at New Wimbledon Theatre next month. Mathilde Cacaly, eight and Joanna Mitchell, ten, both go to the Acton Ballet School in East Acton Lane, Acton and Mia Carruthers, 12 and Poppy Hipwell, 13, go to the Joyce Butler School of Dance, Ridley Avenue, West Ealing.

Leaseholders claim they will be hit with excessive costs and inaccurate bills if Ealing's housing stock is contracted out to 'private providers'.

A man who was killed instantly after falling under a train at Ealing Broadway station on Saturday January 30, has been named.

Charles Lanek, 45, of Gladstone Road, in the Chiswick area of the London Borough of Ealing, died after he was struck by the Heathrow to Paddington service at around 12:13pm.

Performers of all ages and abilities are invited to enter the annual competitive Ealing Festival of Music, Dance and speech which will take place in April and May 2010.

The Ealing Festival, which encourages the study and performance of dance, instrumental, pianoforte, vocal, speech, verse and drama, is inviting people to read their syllabus and apply for classes.
