AS LONDON goes Ealing is a family friendly borough, mainly thanks to all the parks for children to play in.
But author Daniel Raven-Ellison says the youngsters are not using them, in fact many rarely play outside at all. They are unable to go and play with friends unless adults are available to keep them under eagle-eyed supervision because of a misplaced fear of the outside world.
