Will you be sending a reporter and photographer to public meeting at ealing town hall at 7.30pm today?
Hi there
I used to be the Manager of the IFL International Guest House called Peace Haven at 3 Creswick Road, Acton which was sold in November 2006.
Is there some way that I can access the archives of the Gazette on-line to find some articles to put together for a talk and, later on, possibly a book.
The Centre was also known as the London Friendship Centre and dates back to 1951. I know that there were many entries in the Gazette covering the multicultural events that used to take place over the years.
If you would like to call me - 02392 754148 (I now live in Portsmouth) but am happy to travel up to your offices if that is necessary.
Many thanks - hope to hear from you! Pam
Hi, my name is Madeline (commonly known as Maddie) I am 13 and I have a passion for writing. When I leave school I hope to be a journalist. Inspired by Lynn Barber (a well known journalist,) who started to write at a young age for her local newspaper, I would love to write for the Ealing Gazette. I would work hard and strive for accuracy. Although I can't give you any references as I haven't had much experience in writing for a proper newspaper, I have been reading the Ealing Gazette for a couple of years now and I would love to be part of such a thrilling and enticing newspaper. I live in Hanwell, in the borough of Ealing, so accessability will not be a problem. I am asking for a simple column in which I can write short stories...e.ct If I were to write you some articles, would you be interested? If so, how would I go about sending them and to whom?
I hope to hear the answer to my questions shortly!
Your Sincerley

Hi,
I am looking for cutting of the news about the Memorial service done in Holy Trinity Church on Southall Broadway near Police station for the Assasinated Fedral Minister for Minorities in Pakistan. The service was conducted on 26th of March, 2011. Any i know that the issue after that had that news in it.
I am interested in getting hold of that copy if possible or if i can have an access to it online Please.
Please get in touch to guide me whether how can i get that.
Your truly,
S Samuel
I was shocked to read in the Gazette that Ealing propose to bring in a charge for the collection of garden waste and even more shocked to see that the proposal was to bring in wheelie bins for this. Some ten years back your headline regarding a controled parking poll was WHAT PART OF NO DOES THE COUNCIL NOT UNDERSTAND. Money was spent on a poll recently regarding rubbish collection and Ealing voted against wheelie bins. How can the council ignore this.
If they feel they HAVE to charge, that is one issue but I feel very strongly that the beauty of the streets of Ealing is now threatened because any borough using wheelie bins immediately seems to sink in the pride in the appearance of their area.
I have emailed to the councillor concerned requesting a reply before our neighbourhood watch meeting Monday but as yet have no reply.

I am writing exhausted after a night of selfish Diwali revellers. The fireworks continued until about 2 am which is most unfair on a weekday night. Couldn't people celebrate with fireworks earlier in the evening then continue indoors for a private party?
Most inconsiderate when our houses are so close together.
We have not received the Gazette for the last two weeks. Has the service been discontinued?
