Harvington shuts its senior school
Harvington school, which celebrated its 120th anniversary last year, is closing its senior school from September.
The independent school for girls in Castlebar Road, Ealing is being forced into the decision because numbers have fallen and other schools can offer a more varied curriculum.
But it plans to revamp its junior school, with hopes of reintroducing cooked lunch when it re-opens as Harvington Preparatory School. The school will continue to include boys in the nursery.
