Ealing's Olympic chance
The Council has begun its search for top athletes living in Ealing to help make their Olympic dreams come true.
A £125,000 Team Ealing Ambassador grant scheme is being allocated to applicants until midday on January 11 2010.
The sports funding programme, which provide financial assistance to successful applicants, was approved by the council's Cabinet earlier this month.
Athletes must meet the criteria set out in the application form that is available to download on the council's website www.ealing.gov.uk/sports
The money will be paid in instalments in the run up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games with a special event held at the end of January to celebrate the chosen athletes for Team Ealing.
