Voluntary groups join forces to help jobless
Eight voluntary groups have joined forces to help jobless people, many of whom fall through the net, find work.
Headed by Action Acton, Ealing One Stop Shop Jobs Network is a new project aimed at people who may be on benefits, have been made redundant or have health problems.
The groups all have specialist advice or help to offer, ranging from workshops to interview technique and work experience.
The £650,000 project has been funded for two years by London Councils European Social Fund with Ealing Council.
