New sign highlights disabled access to hospital
A ten-year battle to highlight disabled access to Ealing Hospital ended last week when a second sign went up.
Prof Alan Gillett, chairman of the hospital's League of Friends, unveiled the plaque named after him at the path leading from the car park to the main entrance. An easy access path was built in 1999 with a small sign, also named after him, which was not visible from the car park.
