Ealing Loo of the Year
A pub has won the 2009 Loo of the Year awards after receiving a four star rating by inspectors.
The Sir Michael Balcon in the Mall, Ealing, was visited by inspectors who judged the toilets on décor, maintenance, cleanliness, accessibility, hand washing and drying equipment and overall management.
The awards are aimed at highlighting and improving standards of toilets and are graded from one to five stars, with unacceptable toilets not graded at all.
The manager of the Wetherspoon pub, said: "I am delighted with the award.
"Staff at the pub work hard to ensure the toilets are in first-class condition at all times and it is great that this has been recognized by the inspectors."
