Underground blues player set for big gig
A bluesman who made a name for himself busking around Ealing and on the London Underground will perform a one-off gig at the Drayton Court pub in West Ealing next weekend.
John Albert is hoping for a sold-out show at the venue in The Avenue on Saturday, October 24, as the gig is being filmed for a music video.
John, who has busked on behalf of the NSPCC in Ealing Broadway and raised cash for a children's playground at the Pitshanger Party in the Park, plays traditional blues numbers and original songs with a 21st century twist.
He said: "An enthusiastic crowd would be a huge plus."
Doors open at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £6 and are available on the door or in advance on 0872 148 5680.
