A singer wowed children with her voice and lyrics which delivered a message to be happy even if you're different and not letting bullies get to you.

Lotte Mullan, a country girl at heart but with strong musical connections in London, visited pupils at Grange Primary School at the end of September.

She performed her debut single 'Alright with me' which encourages people to speak out against bullies and not keep the issues to themselves.

The children swayed, sung and clapped along with the singer-song writer and Karen Merison, deputy head of Grange Primary School in Church Gardens, Ealing, said: "The children instantly liked Lotte and thought she was fantastic.

"She spoke to them at their own level during the question and answer session and told the children how to be a good friend and make sure that people are not left out.

"Her song sent out a message to be happy with yourself and not caring what others think.
"Lotte is a good role model for children and they really enjoyed her visit."

Grange Primary School is aiming to deliver a creative curriculum by encouraging people to come to the school and talk to the children about their experiences.

We'd like to hear from you.
