Ealing Cycling Groups Scoop Grant
Cycling groups in the borough have scooped more than £7,000 to help encourage people to get on their bikes.
Transport for London has awarded £4,009 to Back-on-the-bike with children, promoting cycling to parents and children under five and £3,500 to Get on your Bike (G.O.B) cycling club, a project aimed at training young people in bike maintenance and mechanics.
The money was awarded as part of an annual £200,000 Community Cycling Fund for London, and David Eales, project manager of Back-on-the-bike, said the grant has enabled them to push the project to a wider number of people and improve cycling skills.
