YMCA Ealing Appointee

The YMCA movement has announced Ian Green as the new Chief Executive to support 65,000 young people across 135 centres in England.

Mr Green, former Ealing Mayor and currently serving as Chairman of the Board of the Ealing Hospital NHS Trust, has been involved with the YMCA since 1987.

He said: "I'm honoured to lead such a dynamic group of YMCAs who every day pour their hearts and souls into supporting young people who too often have nowhere else to turn.

"I've dedicated the last 20 years of my life to the YMCA Movement because I believe in the work we do, I believe in the people doing that work, and, most importantly, I believe in the promise of young people."
