Ealing Council Creates Jobs

Posted by Paloma Kubiak on Jul 7, 09 04:16 PM in Local Authority

Dozens of jobs will be created after the council pledged to tackle grot spots in the borough.

More than £400,000 has been assigned to a special blitz on 230 locations across Ealing after residents from each ward identified the top 10 dirt hot spot areas.

Temporary jobs will be created at May Gurney, the street cleaning contractor over the next six months.

The council will also be taking tough measures against people who drop litter or dump rubbish.

We'd like to hear from you.
