Armed Forces Day in Ealing
The first ever national Armed Forces Day will take place this Saturday from 11am-4pm.
Musical performances by the Prince of Wales division band, demonstrations by army chefs and activities organised by the Parachute Regiment will take place outside the war memorial at Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing Green.
A formal ceremony will take place at 2:30pm where the Mayor of Ealing will present veterans
with UK Armed Force and Merchant Seafarers Veteran Badges.
Veteran's Day will also be commemorated with a parade and open day at the Royal British Legion at 182 Oldfield Lane South, Greenford.
