Acton students make bouquet for the Queen

Posted by Jane Harrison on Jun 23, 09 10:41 AM in Schools/colleges

Floristry students from Capel Manor in Acton made a replica of the Queen's coronation bouquet in 1953 and presented it to Buckingham Palace.

The floristry students from Capel Manor College's Gunnersbury Park centre were commissioned to produce the replica bouquet by the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, and under the guidance of senior floristry tutor Michelle Moore created an exact copy of the original.
