Swine Flu In Ealing

Posted by Paloma Kubiak on May 1, 09 09:57 AM in Health

Ealing could be the hardest hit borough in London of the swine flu pandemic, according to health experts.

The World Health Organisation has warned that in the worst case scenario, Ealing could see up to 4,235 deaths.

This follows the warning that up to 94,000 people in the capital could die if the pandemic strikes.

London is now on red alert following the World Health Organisation's decision to increase warnings from a level four to five, one short of a full pandemic.

But Ealing Primary Care Trust said they have had robust plans in place for years to deal with a pandemic situation.
