New Hotel set for Ealing
A disused office block in Hanger Lane will be transformed into a hotel by summer 2010, creating 60 new jobs.
Premier Inn, part of the Whitbread group, has secured planning permission to build a 160 room, part four and five storey hotel on the Orbit House site at the Ritz Parade.
A restaurant, bar, offices as well as 66 car parking spaces will be built on the site.
Derek Griffin, Head of Acquisitions - Greater London, Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, said: "Not only will the new hotel help to create approximately 60 jobs locally but we also expect it to deliver significant benefits in terms of local trade and the economy.
"We're looking forward to work starting on site and to opening our doors to guests in summer next year."
