Free Travel for Ealing Pensioners
Free 24 hour travel for Ealing's pensioners has been guaranteed for the next five years.
Transport for London and councils across the capital have agreed funding for the Freedom Pass scheme up until 2015, providing free transport for older people on most buses, tubes and trains.
London Mayor Boris Johnson said: "Extending the Freedom Pass to 24 hours will help hundreds of thousands of Londoners.
"This shows that the new approach of working together with London's boroughs is a much better way of achieving our shared goal to improve the quality of life in our city."
