Ealing Attacker Sentenced

Posted by Paloma Kubiak on Feb 5, 09 02:58 PM in Crime

A convicted child killer is back behind bars after trying to murder his wife in a jealous rage.

Errol Alexander, of Gurnell Grove, Ealing, stabbed his wife Dorothy 14 times as she begged him not to kill her in July last year.

The 48-year-old had already been jailed for four years for manslaughter in 1981 after hitting and shaking his previous partner's child.

Alexander was given an indeterminate sentence for public protection with a minimum term of six years.

Judge Richard Hayward told him: "It was a terrifying experience for her.

"It was described as a frenzied attack and you are a dangerous man.

"You were not so concerned about love for your wife.

"This was more about jealousy and a need to control her."

We'd like to hear from you.
