Ealing ice rink opens

An open air ice rink in Ealing was officially opened with a performance by professional skaters last night.

Mayor Ian Green cut the ribbon at the Haven Green rink before taking to the ice with a crowd of invited guests.

It is hoped the rink, which is open into the late evenings until January 4, will attract shoppers into the town centre over Christmas.

Tickets costs £9.50 for adults and £7.50 for under-16s, with discounts available for morning sessions, students and group bookings.
