Creative Writing Course

An author is hoping Acton will be a den for creativity and is offering a course for budding writers.

Tonya Blowers will be running the course at The Rocket Pub in Acton and will be taking participants through
'Writing A Life: Fact and Fiction' and 'Reading and Writing the short story'.

The author, who runs a monthly book club and workshop for more advanced writers, wants to make creative writing accessible to the local community.

Tonya said: "I've been looking for the ideal place in Acton to host all the various 'wordplay' activities.
"It would be nice if The Rocket can have an arty association as Acton really needs a place for musicians, painters and writers to hang out."
